Ritau van Koudewater (they/them) is an unruly cogito constantly decreating themselves. An unmarked presence, they currently identify themselves with the 15th-century anonymous artist, Meester van Koudewater. Their practice, unfolding from the dialectic of presence and absence, explores the circulation between performance and documentation, through the lens of conjuration.
